BSB50815 Diploma of International Business

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who possess a sound theoretical knowledge base in international business management and demonstrate a range of managerial skills to ensure that international business activities are conducted effectively in an organisation or business area. Typically they would have responsibility for the work of other staff and lead teams in conducting international business activities.

This qualification would apply to individuals working in a variety of industry settings, planning on /currently directly responsible for managing people, projects or finances within an import/export environment.


You  have a total of 2 years to complete the Diploma, however, based on a study commitment of 15 to 20 hours a week, candidates are able to complete this in 12 months.

Entry requirements

There are no entry requirements for this qualification.


A possible training pathway for a student completing this qualification could be the following:

* BSB51915 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management
* BSB80315 Graduate Certificate in Leadership Diversity

These qualifications represent a logical pathway regardless of whether the RTO offers the qualifications.

After achieving the BSB50815 Diploma of International Business, candidates may pathway into an Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management (BSB51915) or other Advanced Diploma within the BSB or other industry area.

‘Course Credits’ may be gained for further study on completion of this qualification.

Candidates who have attained competency in alternate units may be eligible to substitute those units for Credit transfer/RPL or RCC in accordance with the training package rules for the BSB50815 Diploma of International Business. Where this course is offered for our corporate clients and subject to the training packaging rules alternate electives may be substituted to provide customisation to their specific requirements.
